Questions
Careers FAQ
Do I need a license to apply?
No. Many of our agents started with zero experience. We’ll walk you through getting your state life & health license (in Florida that’s the 2-15) step by step.
Is this full time or part time?
Either. You set your own schedule. Some agents start part time while they get licensed and move to full time once they’re writing business.
How do agents get paid?
Agents are independent contractors paid commission on the policies they place. What you earn depends on your effort, skill and consistency. There is no guaranteed income, and we’ll be upfront about how it all works in your interview.
Are there any costs to get started?
Getting licensed has state exam and fingerprinting fees, and most carriers require E&O insurance. We’ll go over the exact costs in your state during the interview so there are no surprises.
Do I have to buy leads?
We’ll show you every option: your own agent web page, referrals, social media, and lead programs. You decide what fits your budget.
Can I work from home?
Yes. Most appointments happen by phone or video, and all of your tools live in our online agent portal.
Agents are independent contractors. Income depends on individual effort and results, and is not guaranteed. Licensing requirements and costs vary by state.
